Finally decided to register in the forums.
I don't know why I haven't done it until now!

So, hello everyone^^

I'm a student from the Art Institute of California in the Web Design program.
I have experience in Actionscript 2 but still new to OOP.
My instructors encouraged me to learn AS3, and then AS4 came out of nowhere and totally freaked me out to the point that I got inspired to start studying Java.

Going back to AS, I think I'll be working with AS2 for the next... I dunno.... 2 months until I finally check out what AS3 and eventually AS4 is all about.

Anyway, hope we get along^^

Welcome! Hey AS4 is still not there so take it easy, you'll just have to tackle AS3 for now!

I think you mean you have been trying to learn CS3 but then CS4 came out?

HAHAHA, it's quite baffling, lol. He must just be here for the community.

Well... I was asking this because there are some people who manually post meaningless posts to get a certain number of post counts, and then starts spamming the board... It'd be a good indicator for me if/if not this person responds to my question... Or, it could be the case where he thinks that his signature is still in tact hoping the meaningless post shows up in the search engine with this signature... Who knows... Yeah... I know I am abit too censitive on this spammy issues... :(

Well you could go thru the database to find if he did have a signature. But really, you may just wanna ban. I mean 3 absolutely meaningless posts? He's not contributing to the community or asking questions. No use in having him here.

Well... The latest update Jesse and Strok implemented prevents you to have a signature if you have less than 50 posts... So, if it is a case of an automated bot, it is just doing the job as is... If not, if not... At any rate, just because he's posting meaningless post does not mean that I have enough to ban that account... Let's see... ;)

It's only 3 posts. If the meaningless post count increases then you may want to think of banning him/it. I don't think there's much harm in keeping the account for now.

Actually, I do find that meaningless bot like posters suck. They just flood the forums, give no real insight, and just baffle the readers . :p
