[AS3] setFocus List Item?

So I thought the IFocusMangagerCompenent was going to do the trick. But, setFocus() will take no arguments. And it's starting to look like this class is just for setting the initial focus of a component on the stage.

I'm working on an mp3 player and can get it to go to the next song, no prob.
But, does anyone have any clues as to how I can set the focus for the next item in the list ? - so that the focus will match the song currently playing?

i think you are looking for selectedIndex. no focus necessary.

playlist.selectedIndex = currentSongID;
