I have 11 big mc on the stage and want to line them up so I can scroll it back and forth. the problem that I'm having is that my mcs are about 900px wide and I can't line them up without going beyond my viewable range of the stage in flash... I have zoomed out to 25% and can only see my stage and nothing beyond it... I have about 4 mcs off to the side that I can't click on and want to be able to line them all up... I can see all of them in the the preview window of the library, I konw they are there... Is it possible to make the viewable area of the stage bigger then 6000px? I'm using a 30" mac display I can almost view the whole earth at actual size.....

thanx for any help.

Welcome aboard,

I don't have the answer to your question, but that is kinda the point; I would strongly advise against what you are trying to do...

I wouldn't put 11 big MCs in the file to begin with, much less have them all lined up on the stage at once. I also would never place anything outside the stage. You're just using up bandwidth and system resources.
Place your movieClip in the library, or in external swfs, then load and position them using AS.

If you don't know enough AS to do it, start asking questions and postin your work; you're definately at the right place.

Agreed, 11 big MCs on the stage = terrible practice, and it gets into your way in the authoring environment as well, in addition to the performance issues you may encounter as elaborated by Noct. Mind posting some of your work so we could take a look to see how your problem can be resolved?
