I am totally new to the forum, flash, and AS2. I am working on a "simple" flash site, and am having problems figuring out how to make AS2 remove a component. I have a scrollbar that displays photos (click on Public Art from menu). The idea is to display the main categories of photos as thumbnails on the Public Art page (there are 4 categories now). When you click on a photo here, it will take you to another page with many more photos from that category that you would scroll through. I wanted to have actionscript then remove the initial scrollbar component, and I could swap it with another scrollbar with new images. As it is, it will bring up a photo from the first category, but the scrollbar remains. I can't figure out how to remove it or swap the images from there. I am sure there are many different ways to accomplish this, but being new to this, I am not sure which approach is best. Thanks in advance for any help, please let me know if you have posting tips that might help as well as I am new here.
