Why don't you try looking at this web address http://www.webflashartistry.com/ for any ideas of different Image galleries Flex 3 has to offer with AS 3?
I spend quiet some time on rewriting them to improve mainly the download/loading intervals etc. as they where mostly far to slow to pull the skin of a rice pudding. But what’s new? seem to be a ongoing Flash/FLEX problem and I’m quiet happy with the outcome of improving most of these issues.
