The user permissions issue for users with over 50 posts has been resolved. Please let us know if there's something else bothering you.
PS,
The quick box was disabled by Jesse

Yes, Thanks Strok & Jesse (and whomever else helped). Always nice when improvements are put in place, hopefully all the issues are resolved and things can now get back to normalcy around here. Again thank you everyone.

Side Note: So where did Atomic go? Over a week of loud dialog and now silence? Rather odd.

Anyway what's with the sudden changes to the forums with user policies and all that?

User signatures were turned off due a spam issue I believe, so this is a method to prevent that.

Oh yeah, still remembered those guys who came here and advertized Steriods use in the Site Check section :p

Quick box was turned off by me? Really? I didn't do anything... at least, not intentionally.

He was too quick to say that he missed 'reply' when he said Quick box... :p

Haha, I'm typing this with the quick box right now ;).

Anyway I see most of the problems have been fixed now.

Previously the "quick box" was working, it just did not remove the words that were there. You had to manually delete it.

Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.

It doesn't clear the above automatically as before. You don't need to hit the button. You can simply type your reply if you click in it.

I preferred the old system :(

Quick reply has always required that you click a thread. It's actually because vBulletin supports different ways of displaying threads -- as in showing replies to particular posts nested beneath that post, rather than showing all posts in time/date order.

Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.

This post done on IE by simply clicking in the Quick Reply window itself and typing away. No need to click a Quick Reply button on any post, as it was required to do so before the lastest update. Pressing a Quick Reply button then, did in fact activate the window and automatically cleared the above warning. No more so. Pressing the Quick Reply button now has no effect, since the window is already active and it doesn't even automatically clear the above warning as it did before. Furthermore a javascript error appears on the page...

Thanks for the response... I've tried to replicate your issue. I could replicate the first bit (no need to click quick reply) but not the javascript error. Is it still an issue? What version of IE are you using?

Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply.

Still the same. Quick Reply has no effect. IE7.0.5730.13 PC, installed over 6 months ago, and no problem until the last update.
The error appears as soon as I open a thread, not on the thread's list.

You know, recently I've seen a whole lot of people double posting, with the first post saying "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply", and the second post being the post they meant to post, I think you can figure out why :p
