simple search application

hye..i'm new in flex development..can someone show me how to do this.

i have a datagrid.and a search function.i want the user to be able to input anything and the search function will search for the required text from my datagrid.can someone show me how to do this??

i'm willing to learn..any suggestion would be appreciated.
