I just noticed while browsing around that tacos was just banned by AS.org staff. I thought he was contributing quite nicely to the site, so why the ban? Either that or he must have set his signature to "Banned by AS.org Staff", as a very late April Fools joke. :p

Woah, how did you guys find out? Anyway, atomic sure is wanting to come back, ver desperately. Like who creates another account yet again just to participate in the forums?

I'd guess that they matched the IP or domain. Most forum platforms allow you to see all that fun stuff about your users if you're an admin or if mods have that privilege.

You know, over here in my country, entire blocks of high rise buildings share the exact same IP.

haha, where is that? cause I seriously doubt that is true. A whole school may share the same IP, but not a whole block of high rise buildings. you talking about ISP?

In "Outer Space" (haha, read my profile:p), rapidshare insists that I (someone from my IP) have downloaded something in the last 30mins whenever I start it up, when I obviously haven't, and not just rapidshare, but a thousand and one other things as well, so I seriously think that's the case, because an entire block shares the same cable I think...

Heh, yea they've got to be using some sort of DHCP or dynamic IP assignment. Sharing IP's amongst that many clients would be a nightmare. :p

Actually the whole point of me saying that was to say that you could never be too sure. But seeing how active tacos suddenly became, it's no surprise that it was Atomic, at least the misconception is cleared now!

Actually, it's true. "Outer Space" Does have entire blocks or even entire estates having the same ip.
But Can someone please clear this up? I'm still quite confused on why both of them were banned. As far as I know, they asked for donations. Is that supposed to be bad?
No, that was not the issue. "Tacos" a.k.a "Atomic a.k.a "oldnewbie" has been a long saga. He created a few accounts around the same time and was hopping accounts as they got banned. Again, he does contribute, but he also causes issues that just wont be ignored.

Ok sorry, I will not bring this up again. Thanks though.
No worries. The mods and admins here will always explain our actions, dont hesitate to ask.

Hmmm... I assume this thread can be closed now so we don't start another, let's bring atomic back thing... Anyway, the thread has outlived its use of me wanting to know who was tacos.
