i am sending this mail again, as there must be some problem with my earlier mail , cause it has not appeared on the forum.

ok, my problem:
i have developed a game based on idea of jigsaw puzzle and using command of drag n drop. the different parts of the entire picture i.e. different movie clips are of box type. and there arises my problem. these movie clips are not overlapping each other in a proper way. (better to say not in a way that i want it to be).

It's a layering pb that isn't easy to solve. I played with bring forward & backward, but in every case there will be a border visible.

You may design your pieces in such a way that they overlap properly, that would be the easiest way.

If you want to keep the shape of your pieces, your borders should go on a lower layer, but that would require to separate the pieces in 2 mc : picture & borders. And the pb is that you can't startDrag() 2 mc at once. So you'll have to do you own dragging with onRollOver, onRollOut, onMouseDown, onMouseMove & onMouseUp.
