I have already posted in the game section; however, it was for a different purpose. What I am looking for here is some critism on what you think about the game.

Hmmm... Okay first thing, that game was oddly retarded yet fun! All the smiley faces gives you the creeps after staring at them for the tenth time:p
One thing you should note, the colors for your start menu seem to saturated and random, if you want green, stick with it, don't choose red, green and blue all at the same time, it just looks weird.
Secondly, add some more life to the game! I don't know whether you want a minimalist look or something, but try to add more decorative elemnets to the game, sure they add little gameplay value, but they do add to the fun atmosphere in which you are aiming for. Right?
Other than that, good luck on your game project! ;)

Success! I was going for simple fun game, but the smiley faces are an inside joke with another forum I post on. Check out this site. (http://www.filterforge.com/filters/3648.html) So the creepy factor is the joke :)
As far as the color scheme goes, your right, but I am lazy so it will probably remain plain.
Your suggestion on the reset button, though, was spot on so I updated the game to now include the reset button. Any other thoughts on the matter, a sample size of one is a start but I am curious to hear what others think as well :)

It looks ok, plays smoothly, but overall it's just another lights on/off game. Perhaps vary it up and come up with some unique puzzle positions. Also a variation might be to make multiple types of faces, each changing the faces around them in different manners, so you have to learn what the faces do.
Happy faces make sad faces smile, Glasses make happy sad, sad makes glasses take them off... or something. Anyway it played smooth and was well executed.

Again success, it plays smooth; and yes it is not original. Just like tetris I wanted a classic on my games list, something students could play for a few minutes and dedicated nerds could try to master. I have two more games in the works so this is suppose to be just basically a fun teaser to draw attention while I can perfect my bigger games. I have one more game that should be released next week(space invaders clone), and then my big one the week after; which is purely original and full of content and has about 60 minutes of gameplay.
I like your idea about the different faces doing different things, but to much may lead to a more complicated and less easy game. As it stands this game is hard, until you figure out the pattern. Add more elements and I might scare away a few people because of the shear difficulty of the game.

I agree, the beauty of a good game is how it squeezes good fun into an easy to understand way (don't mistake this for easy). I think we shouldn't add weird faces and make things seem too complicated.;)
