It's a speed effect that many people use:

Create three keyframes, one on the first frame and another one on the last (frame 5 maybe), and one immediately after the first frame. On the second keyframe, take the personMC and blur it a lot and position it in the middle of both the start and end positions. That way, the people will look as if they are running real fast. If done well, it should look good, if not, well, you can tell.

Is this what you want?

See if it works for you, many people who are new to this always get the amount of blur and the placement of the person wrong, so it'll look a little weird, if you have any problems, I could help ;)

some walking movement. I dont know if this is necessary but when 1 & 2 are put together its a short (very short lol) movement! Also using CS3 and AS2 just incase you need to know this ;)

Ok, could you PM me your email, I'll send it to you in a day or so when I'm free ;)

Or would you rather me post the solution here?
