I have created text with vines coming off the edges of the writing, i am trying to create a intro for my website?

I would like to gradually have the vines appearing on my page, I have tried this via a mask, i have three squares in the mask graudally increasing in size so the vines look like they are growing. But when there are three squares in the mask the are moving towards each other and swapping at different ends, any advise please?

Use a circle growing out from the centre of the where the vines appear from the text instead of three boxes.

kkbb: the vines could be appearing from three places

soc86:Use shape hints. Alternatively, put each object into a separate layer. Put all the layers into one movieclip and put that movieclip on the mask layer

Even if the vines are appearing from three places, as long as they originate from a common focus, in this case, he wants them to appear from some text, using a circle is the simplest and the nicest looking way to do it. ;)

still requires multiple layers

But you are reusing that same circle, it requires much less drawing for an almost identical result.
