I imported 4 mp3s created in Audacity. One is 150kb, the rest are under 100kb. When I import them to my library, and look at their properties, the file size reported is much larger. The 150kb file says 1697kb in the flash properties. When my movie is published, it is larger than it should be because of those sounds...Any ideas why this is happening?

well, I think it has to do with the bitrate I exported my mp3's at. I exported them at 64, and I didn't get the "Use imported MP3 Quality" checkbox I need.

If I export my mp3s out of Audacity at 48, they work fine in Flash and give me the "Use imported MP3 Quality" checkbox. I would like to have the slightly better quality sound if possible, any ideas?

crrrraapppp, well it looks like its a problem with my mp3's exported out of Audacity. I just exported one from iTunes and it worked fine. Now i have to go back, clean up my .wavs again, chop them up again, and export them again. Thanks Audacity!
