movie is messed up after publishing

hi,

i've been working on a move and everything works fine when i preview it (ctrl+alt Enter) but after i publish the movie it seems to load fine and everything except the mouse over effect doesn't work and my buttons don't work and a dynamic text scroller i have there doesn't work!! what can i do??

re the mouseover effect is this the one on the text that brings up the news item? if so, the problem is that the text is the mouseover area, not the area behind the letters, inbetween them etc - add a rectangle to the fourth frame - "hit" - this will be the area that is moused over and could be bigger/smaller/diff size to your text....

my question is why is everything working when i preview, but then after i publish nothing works as it should. there is supposed to be a mouse trail effect (1's and 0's) when you mouse over the menu items there should be a one ping sound instead of the loop it gives me after publishing. also the news box is supposed to scroll, it doesn't! i don't know what to do :(
