Hey guys, I've had nothing but problems with Webserve.ca. Does anybody know of a good reliable host. I'm looking for a host that can load a Flash website/FLV's fast. The site will play various FLV's and the websites .swf is about 300k. I have a budget of about $100/year. Thanks!
You can look into Eleven2.com

1and1.com looked quite good. But I couldn't subscribe because my country wasn't supported. (How difficult is it to list the moon?) But by the looks of the stats, it seemed quite decent.

I'm using fasthosts right now, but the load times are a little long to users who are not living in UK, as the ping gets really high, so I wouldn't recommend it. Then there is 1and1, which seems quite decent as well, and the plans come with a free domain, but I've never tried it myself.

While searching for a good hosting service media temple also seemed nice. But it is a little on the expensive side.

And apparently hostmonster has quite a following too. Any people have had experiences with hostmonster around here?
Few other also...

But I've see many negative reviews of dreamhost (in your recommendations, asf8), though I've never used it before, so tread careully...

Don't forget Yahoo Sites. It's pretty good, actually. It's fast, has fast FTP, and you can even look at who is linking to your website and how many people are hitting certain pages in the admin panel. You even get a bunch of email addresses.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how much it costs... oops!

Haha, a quick Google should solve that. :)

Stay away from Dreamhost, that's for sure. I recommend hawkhost.com, great pricing and good support but I can't comment on specific features.
