I always use a 1280x1024 pix screen resolution to do everything from designing ect. then it hits me most people use a bigger screen resolution and I was wondering is there a a script or html code i could use to automatictly change the viewers screen resolution then change it back when they leave.

I wouldn't have thoght that many use a bigger res than 1280x1024, 800x600 and 1024x768 are still pretty standard.

I for one hate flash movies that take over my screen and go fullscreen without warnng so I would be REALLY annoyed if a page tried to actually change my resolution.

You can use javascript to detect a users settings and if needs be load a different sized movie or a different layout html page depending on what they have.

you can also publish your movie to fit a percentage of the screen (like 100%) instead of 'fit movie'.
