Fancy java embedding. Possible?

Hi fellas!

I'm trying to embed a java object into html. the object itself is bigger than the area i want it to be in. How should i go about embedding it like it is show on this picture:

Is it even possible somehow with rocket science css perhaps? or maybe centered as a table cell background?

ANY ideas are very much welcome :)
