Html eflyers

Understandably this isnt the correct forum, but im rather lost............ Ive been asked to design an eflyer in html, which is complete, however i dont know how the uploaded file can be embedded in a e mail message for distribution. Ive looked at scripts from other e flyers but im unable to locate the method. Please be assured that im not in the arena of spam, its for small e newsletter with recipients permission.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance
