mx:Repeater

I have a problem with the mx: Repeater, I am trying to repeat a Canvas as the number of records in a database and Mysql in the canvas which has several labels with data such as Name, Id, Date change as records in the database Mysql. A repeat pattern and layout as for example done in PHP, but I can not do the same in flex, could someone help? Would have an example?
