There isn't much of a way how you can make it smoother without knowing what code he uses. He either made the FPS way too low, or he used too many masks, useless scripts, etc

So, can you give me some details? Is your scope made from a mask, fps, etc?

I was putting too less of fps. It was like 4 and now it's at 9. I also need help with centering my scope. it's not on the exact spot of the mouse.

It just depends where your registration point is. Try moving it to the middle.

Is there any reason you don't put it up to... say... thirty? I can't stand much below that fps. If it's because of that weird circle in the background going too fast, just use a motion tween and make it use a larger number of frames.

I did and I have it working better now. Tell me when you would like updates of it and I will try to give you a download of it. and durnus, I dont understand what your getting at here. If i change the fps of 1 thing to 30 it will change everything to 30 fps.

Recommended FPS is 24, and unless you have to, try to keep it 24-30.

Of course it will. All your animation will speed up, but that's a problem you should of thought about in the beginning.

You really need a fps more than 9. If you make it less than 15, you'll have problems. Even in a button game where there are no moving objects. I have a button game, and it's fps is 25. (fav number :) ) Also if u make a shooter, definately at least 30 fps. And never, ever, ever do 1 fps. This was kind of off topic, sorry.

probably needs some improvement. If you don't want to change the frame rate use an onMouseMove with updateAfterEvent() for the crosshair.

Thanks for your input on the sniper game stuff but I'm not going to finish it. I am hoping to get people that have exellent experience in coding, 3d modeling and animation and music. I am hoping to make a 3d racing game. I will most likely be the director of the game and how everything is going to be done.
