Hi,

I just made a small game to learn flash MX and it's all fine.
But when I publish it and try to play in it a html file, I only get a black screen.

I have toyed a bit with the publishing options, but nothing works.

Anyone has an idea?

(So far, by browsing the forums I learned that similar problems could come up with instance names and buttons, but I used no buttons in my work).

I can play the .swf fine.

Now, I want to imbed it in a html file so I can play it over that internet thing.

However, once in the html file (local), the swf stays pitch black.

I tried making a simple movie clip animation and publish it, and it plays flawlessly.

Now, I have no idea what I could have done in my project to come up with such a weird behavior.

I don't even think I can share the fla with you for help since it's a work project and I can't pass NDA's around. . .

Anyway, if someone has ever had any such thing happen, please enlighten me.
