hello and thanks for reading,
I am trying to create a slide presentation, in which the slides change in time with an audio file. The presentation is close to 5 minutes long. Some funky stuff is happening(I am using Flash MX on XP Pro):
when i use a .wav file it sounds garbled, almost like a super lo-fi real player type compression. same for a 320k/s mp3. (is flash trying to do some kind of compression itself?)
when i use a 128k/s mp3 and set the sync parameter to 'event' it sounds fine, but does not stay together with the visuals. so obviously I should set the sync parameter to 'stream,' right? So when I do this it syncs up, but sounds garbled(my guess is the flash is time compressing and stretching it which is distorting the audio).
Does anybody have some advice, or even just an explanation of what's happening?
thanks, 4est.
