Flash Plug-in running slow on OS X

Hi,

Has anyone experienced their flash plug-in running extremely slowly on a Mac running OS X? I'm on a G4 800, so it's not the hardware, but any mildy complicated flash site will be crawling at 4-5fps. I've tried to uninstall the plugin and the reinstall, but no luck. Any luck will be greeaaaatly appreciated :D

I have had the same problem at times flash will play really slow in my browser, IE and the new Safari. It will usaly just clear up after a while on my G4. I wish I had an answer for you. I deffently want to here what you figure out.

Are you talking about your own files?
I ran into a similar problem when I was testing a file it would work fine. But as soon as I tried it in a browser it would slow to a crawl. I discovered the problem was the fact that i didn't have a connection to the internet. Turning off airport solved the problem. BTW this was only with a site that used a backend (PHP) it would slow as soon as it tried accessing any php code.

If you are talking about flash-plugin in general on os x, well, yeah it sucks. Macromedia really have to get their act together on that one.
