simple mouseover animations

Hey, I've been trying to just make an short animation play once on a mouseover... but the only way i can accomplish this is by making a button without the link. THis is alright, except that it makes a link cursor when you mouseover. Is there an easier way to make this animation play on mousover, or do I have to remove this hand cursor somehow? THanks for any help!

You can use custom cursors, so you can get rid of the link'hand'. There's a mini-tutorial in your Flash help (F1). Or you could use the values of _xmouse and _ymouse (being the mouseposition) to see if its over your animation, but this may be more of a hassle than needed.
