text looks very odd in the swf

i've got some flash files that I did in Flash MX 2004, i have just converted them to CS4 and when exportin the text looks very bizzarre.

It was Arial size in the MX 2004 version (using device fonts) and looks nice and neat.
In CS4 it is Arial MT but I can';t change it to Arial.
Any other font also looks jagged stil using device fnts.

Is there a setting I need to change to make the text look normal in the swf?

Is it Dynamic or Static text? Have you chosen "Anti-Alias for readability" or "Anti-Alias for animation" from the Properties panel? Readability and Animation text output different Qualities. If you want the best quality then you should be choosing "Static Text" + "Anti-Alias for readability" from the Properties panel.
