Video import only 4:3?

Hi I'm currently working with Flash Cs3 on PC.

I am importing an flv which we made into a widescreen ratio but every time I bring it into flash cs3 it comes in and plays as a 4:3 movie only.

Has anyone had this problem or know what the cause is?

When you import the flv (or any video) into Flash CS3< do the following to be able to resize the video to your liking.


How to Crop and Resize imported videos into flash:

When you have selected your video to import and started to follow the screen prompts to specify how and where you are importing that video, you will come up to an Encoding UI that will display tabs. The tabs will be as follows; Encoding profiles; Video; Audio; Crop and resize. Tab across to "Crop and resize" to specify exactly how big the video should be, such as 1080x780 widescreen. If you want the original size and dimensions, then uncheck the "Resize video" box. If you want the same dimensions/aspect-ratio, but a smaller file size then simply check the "Resize video" box and type in a new amount for either height or width (which will auto configure the aspect ratio).
