Hiya
I'm trying to make a dynamically created navigation bar with links defined by XML.
So far I'be gotten the navbar to appear but the buttons won't link anywhere.
I've gotten the actionscript to trace the link address so that seems okay.
The problem is, when I use navigateToURL, an error appears saying the variable NavigateToURL isnt defined.
Any help would be appreciated

I haven't done much in AS3, but I notice you have a capital N in the error message 'NavigateToURL ' Is that a typo? The method is navigateToURL.
Also there are security issues attached to the method - are you trying to test locally and navigate to remote sites? Check your global security settings by right-clicking on your swf , choose settings then the advanced button to take you to the Adobe Settings manager interface. There's a link in Global Security settings: "If you are a designer or developer creating applications for Flash Player, see Global security settings for content creators instead."

Unfortunately, methods like that don't appear out of nowhere if you are in a class:)
try putting this at the top of your code:
import flash.net.*;
I'm having trouble understanding your explaination of your error. Can we see your exact error and your code? :)

A noogie is when someone puts their arm around your neck, clenches their fist and rubs their knuckles across the top of your head at high speeds. :)
What else could I have put there? I like coleslaw? Because that would be wrong because I hate coleslaw...
Enough about me! CyanBlue gets upset when we "chit-chat" ;) :p

Let CyanBlue get all red in the face 'cause we're chit-chatting. :o Oh, he won't be red, he'll be purple! :eek: Besides, this is water-cooler talk. some of the best ideas coem from around water coolers.

Oh, I see now. You're okay, I was mistaken. The 'other' is spelt with U's.

Oh, that's good. :)
My grandfather would give me noogies, but he did them really soft. This other guy did one to me once and it hurt like chicken biscuits! I still love noogies though.
