Ok here is the dilema. Have a Projector which links to lots of MPGs. I can't have MPGs running within the movie as they loose the sound. Can't convert them as this take to much time and I don't want any degredation in quality. The option I am using is to have a get url command pointing to the file. This loads the MPG in a browser window. The problem is two-fold. On a Mac a blank browser window opens as well as the window with the movie. Okay not a real problem but looks messy. On a PC the window opens but behind the projector meaning you have to quick key to the application and bring it to the front. It will however work if there is not browser open when it loads.
Is there anything that will force the window to always appear above the projector.
Thanks for any advice

javascript perhaps?
if I understand you right you've got two pages:
1 with the projector, and a new window with the new movie in it?
then u should use something to focus the window or blur the window that should be underneath...
If you've got some time I'll be glad to look it up for you if somebody else hasn't done it yet by then :)

There are various 3rd party tools (some free other not) for PC that may help you force browser window IN FRONT projector. If you are working with Flash 5 I would recommend Flash Command Line Tools (with this one you could have MPGs playing in Win Media Player or what ever user has predefined as their default appl), and if it is MX try application called freeMX, made by this forum's user flux2k (it can also open them in their default prog). Check the links in Resources section here:

Hope this helps...
