problems with dial-up modems

I've done a site that works perfectly on a cable modem but i tested it on a dial-up and some of the links don't work at all while other do but go to the wrong place. I can't figure out what the problem might be... any suggestions/ ideas??? oliver?:confused:

your problem is likely that there is no preloader. check Jesse's preload tut: http://www.actionscript.org/tutorials/intermediate/flash5_preloaders/index.shtml
if you do have a preloader, could you be more specific?
or post the actionscript code you use to open the links you talk about?
