Hi guys,
Does anyone know Good XML-based Content Management System?
Kind of that would fit nicely to Flash? I have been looking those PHP/MySQL-based CMS's but seems like they all are HTML module based.
Do you know any what would return content in pure XML?
(btw: This is basically to my homepages and small projects so I prefer Open Source ) ;)

seems we are looking for the same thing. i have just started looking for one and it seems like its very hard to find info about it.
i found this http://www.bigjolt.com/lab/content_manager/ but it seems too raw/unfinished.
have you had better luck finding one?

Nope, I haven't find any good one.
It seems that PHP guys have skip XML revolution totally, they prefer their own template thinking on all their CMS's

I think its has more to do with the crappy XML parsers out there for PHP right now. Its just too hard to manipulate complex xml stuctures in PHP, IMHO. Maybe PHP5 will change that. We will have to wait and see.

Ok, I am M$ man, don't know much about PHP, but yes, it's really a shame that they haven't develop good XML engine for PHP. I would so much prefer PHP over asp.net on web development, just because of syntax. if only they could give me nice API for XML.
But yeah, lets see what comes with PHP5.

I am a former PHP addict, been off the stuff for a few months now. If syntax is a strong point for you, don't you like C#. ASide from PHP being so loosely typed and having a really sh***y implementation for OOP, they are almost the same, syntax wise.
