Movie Size (copy/paste)

Does the process of copy and paste of sections of movies clips into other layers/scenes reduce the overall file size, i.e as these key frames have already been loaded, do they remain in the cache for later use?

If the file is loaded as a seperate swf it will be cached. If you're going back to a previous scene or key frame it won't have any lag beacuse it was already loaded.

Does that make sense?

Well I think that if the movie clip is in the library, it is a reusable item and therefore only has to be loaded once.

Flash lets you reuse objects without taking up extra space.
