[AS3] CS3 Components in Flash Player 10?

Help please...
I am using hex fiend to alter my CS3 .swf's so that they will play in Flash Player 10. Seems to work - in that they target Flash Player 10... But in my latest UI project all the components blink on and off and do not instantiate properly, and the button skins I have made play through all their states...
Is this issue to do with my attempting to publish to Flash 10, or am I doing something else wrong?

Further to my last post... more tests have convinced me that the problem is with the components; I can convert the .swf container to play in Flashplayer 10, using hex fiend - but the components remain targetted for FlashPlayer 9. Does anyone know how to adjust them to play in FlashPlayer 10?
