Hi everyone,

I'm using the flash interactive server to host a chat application.

On my local computer, where my FMS is installed, i'm able to connect to my application using the rtmp protocole: rtmp://192.168.1.56/myapplication

As soon i want to test the application from an other computer in my local network, i got the following error message: connection undifined.

There's a firewall in FMS who blocks connection coming from other computers?

Thanks

there are flash preferences, you can get there by right clicking on any flash app in a browser i think.

here is the info about it: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/ru/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html

somewhere in this preferences you have a tab of adding 'trusted locations' , like a whitelist to connect from.

hope it will help :) .

and i forgot to notice the 'two slash' problem, sometimes you need to use one slash in path (rtmp:/ ) , it is when you are not on localhost. try this first.
