What the heck in a handbasket?!

I added a textField to my video player and am using that to see why FLV's are not being loaded into my video player.

I did some research and found that when NetStream.InvalidArg is called, that means invalid arguments were passed to a NetStream method.

OK, Fine.. I can deal with that, but that's all I can find, and not how to fix it.

I'm importing ALL the videos (F4V and FLV) the same way. They are all stored on a FMS3.5. and I am using NetConnection/NetStream functions and my F4V's are displaying as they should. f4v:sample.f4v. But when I try to load in an flv, as flv:sample.flv or sample.flv. I get the same error over and over. I know the files are there, because the built-in media player on the FMS can play them just fine.

Please help.

and don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful... cuz I'm butt-ugly

I have also found that if I remove the mp4: from the f4v video file path, I get the exact same error.

So would this mean that what I'm running into would be a codec issue?
