XAMPP localhost problem after installing Red5

Hi,

I have just installed Red5 0.7.0 on my computer (WinXP). After this as I do localhost in the browser, I get a "Page not found" error. I am using XAMPP as local apache server. This was working fine before Red5. Do they don't get along well? Has anyone else faced this before ?

for me Wamp gave probs. Xampp works great. because red5 does not block port 80. it takes 5080.

check to see if you Skype on. That blocks port 80

For me the XAMPP is not working working. And my Skype is also not ON. But I specifically specified port 80 to be used. Maybe that is causing the conflict. I will uninstall and reinstall the sw on port 5080. Thanks for the pointer!
