Alrite, basically the reason I started learning how to code actionscript/do flash is because for a school english assignment I decided to write a game about the story Beowulf. Now the game is nearly complete (learned actionscript and coded a pretty basic RPG in 3 weeks, not bad eh? :D ), but I have another issue.
My teacher, I am sure, will not realize how much work went into this (nearly 3 weeks of non-stop 4-5 hours a night type deal..). She isn't the computer-literate type, and all the videogames she prob sees are the ones advertised on TV for Xbox/etc... So when she seems mine (which still took a ton of work, not even considering I had to learn actionscripting to make it) she is prob gonna think I am being lazy or something..
So my question is do you guys have any idea on how I could show her how much work went into making it? How big a task it is to learn a new language in a short amount of time? How much code is in this seemingly simple game?
I thought if I could create a paper that lists all the actionscript (labeled by what object it is attached to) that might give her sort of an idea. Is there any programs that do this automatically or is this going to have to be a cut-paste deal?
Anywayz thx in advance. Im glad I took it upon myself to do this big task because I really enjoy coding actionscript.
