how to simulate a prompt window??

Hi there,

I would like to know if any of you could help me doing something... I would like to create a text window that would do the same thing as a prompt window, for example a simulation of an MS-DOS window...

actually, it would be a window where the user enter a commande, and when he clicks "Return", that commande is executed...

what I cannot do for the moment, is something like that:

Router> command arg1 arg2
Router(config)#...

and so on

Hope you know what I mean :)

can you explain more?? what r u gonna do, what are theses commands?? what if the user put down wrong command?? etc...

If you are trying to create a DOS simulator or sort, it will take at least a sold week to do the job... Of course it will be somewhat easier once you have a couple of things solved... If you have something that you have prepared and need some help, I could be able to give you a hand, but it's not going to happen if you need a hand from the scratch... :mad:
