View Full Version : loadVars problems in SAFARI
i'm encountering problems with some of our sites in safari: variables are not loading from php scripts. swf's, text files or jpg's are no problem
I couldn't find any other people anyw/here who posted this issue, so i'm afraid it's not a known issue in safari - still in beta - but something i need to know..
Should i wait to panic untill 1.0 comes out? Is there anything I can do?
i'm on osx 10.2.4, using safari 0.8.2
anyone?

Howdy...
Safari is the new web browser that Apple has made for Mac OS X... Check it right here (http://www.apple.com/safari/)...

yes, I know that's disappointing
I am on PC too
*%£ù$ù! I'LL BE *$*r*µ%!!!
just ONCE there's an application that works on mac only, and look: how sweet: "they are disappointed" ;) :D
sorry, dudes, but working on a mac equals being used to "being forgotten" in app development more than often.
so, faffy, cyan, i want to see some smilies here 'cause u guys are in no position to complain, AT ALL.
understood? :D :D :D
in the mean time

Oh... tost... Don't *%£ù$ù! I'LL BE *$*r*µ% me!!! (I still have no clue what that means... :D) I was just letting farafiro what Safari is... :(
I am not really disapointed because I don't get to use Safari... Man... I don't even have Netscape installed on this computer... Too lazy to download the file with the 56k, I guess...
Well... I am not here to start another PC/Mac argument... The point is that Flash designer/developer who use PC won't be able to create a Flash movie that can be safely played on Safari because they don't have Safari installed on their PC...working on a mac equals being used to "being forgotten" in app development more than often. How is that different from taking Mac out of main stream by Apple???
Sorry that no Mac guys like farafiro and me are answering your question... I think Billy T is using Mac... Isn't he???
cyan, my friend, i wasn't yelling at you, but at the sky and the birds :D
just kidding..
i'm the last one to start another useless platform discussion - maybe the first one to leave the room/thread when someone else does :)
so, please, don't apologise, a'ight? I've read you long enough to not doubt your intentions :)
regards
tost
oh, and i'm not really against a lill' off-topic posting :D
it makes discussions here more realistic, like when someone just says "i'm hungry" and then people continue talking 'bout something else :))))
it's like Hal Hartman's cross-conversations - i love that
you're welcome!
