Hello every1, can you help me, please?

I would like to disable rollOverColor and selectionColor from a linkbar. How can I do that. Thank you verry much.

you can't disable a color, there has to be a default one.

if you want no text on the buttons then set no labels (you can put image backgrounds on the normal/hover/click/selected/whatever states)

I have a linkbar build and I don't want a Color when you rollOver. This is the linkbar:

<mx:LinkBar dataProvider="{interior}" horizontalGap="30" color="white"
textSelectedColor="#e97900" width="921" height="30"

and this is the style:

.LinkBar {
fontWeight: normal;
fontFamily: Verdana;
font-size: 14;
rollOverColor: null;
selectionColor: null;
disabledColor: #e97900;

Insted he puts a black background when you rollOver. Why?

rollOverColor has to be a number. "null" is interpreted as 0, which is short for 0x000000 (the "black" color) that's why you get a black color.

let's say you have a ball. and that ball has a default green color. now you can take a paintbrush and paint the ball in blue or red or whatever color you want, but the ball will always be of some color, you cannot paint the ball in some invisible color.

back on topic: in your "interior" dataProvider, try setting the menu labels to "".
