Help! re: list boxes

I'm new to flash MX and i'm having problems with the listbox component.

I've got a list of 30 items and what I want is for a user to be able to pick the item they want, click on a button and a movieclip to move to the appropriate part. I can do the code to control the movieclip fine when just using a button for each item - but obviously I don't want 30 buttons on the screen!

Not really sure how to go about it so any ideas welcomed!

I've been using frame labels but i'm not sure whether in this case it'd be better to just use the numbers??

I've had a few attempts but don't seem to be getting anywhere.

You have to define a control function (one that would load a movie, go to another scene or whatever...based upon which item was selected) on the first frame of your movie, then set this function as the Change Handler function in your list box.

I'd already tried that but it didn't work so moved on. When I read you reply I went back to it and worked out why it wasn't working.
