looping menu???

i am building a nav bar that is made up of images, each img is a button, they move from left to right with the speed relative to the mouse possition, when the mouse is over the center, the img under the mouse fades up and the menu stps sliding,

i have been to the tut and found an example of this, however i cant seem to get it to work? it seems overly complicated?

i am still using flash 5?

any ideas?

ah, a menu a la Barney style!?! So you need the pics to slide around under the mouse but also stop and fade when the mouse is over them. I don't know about the stopping thing but the sliding thing is not too terribly complicated.

Let me know if this is what you mean and I can put up a file tonight when I get home.

yeah something like that, i have done the movies that fade up and down on mouse over its the movement thing im stuck on,

all the img are in a line next to each other, when the mouse moves left the img move right and when the mouse is right the img move left, and slowdown when the mouse is in the middle.
