Anyone know? Local cd window?

Hi All,
So I have this executable that I have made that sits on a cd rom that is acompanied by a sub folder with some TIFF files in it. I want to be able to click a MC in the executable that will access the TIFF files (display them) by opening up a local Explorer or General file system window. Then I could send the TIFF file to Photoshop.

so my question is.....
What is the basic code for opening this local (cd rom) dir in a basic windows directory window from a flash executable?

I have see this done, but I dont have the source fla file.
Tried searching help - no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I'm pretty sure that this can't be done in Flash alone, you need a third party wrapper, to give you access to the local system.

I'm working on a project at the moment, using SWF Studio, which can do all this and more for you.

Thanks for your help. I went to the site you recommended.
So it seems that with MX, accessing windows explorer and the mac version "explorer" is out of the picture even with 3rd party software. Ok so how about with flash 5? It seems that you can use the fscommand "exec" freely. So in this case would you even need the third party software?
