wouldn't it be good if you could buy a program that emulated all browsers and versions so that you could switch between versions, brands and platforms to test your site on everything in one go...
goo ideaq... but i don't think it's ever gonna happen. :(
how could one implement the various bugs too? :)
not to mention regular updates with all the new bugs :D :D

buggedcom will do it... See how his nick has been chosen carefully??? :D
Yup... I think it is a good idea, but too much things to do I guess... and I am not sure who are willing to spend the development time for that...

well even if i am blessed i don't really have the knowlege to do such a thing, i'm a flasher not a hard core programming peep. But i just thought i'd bring up the idea of it in case anyone else was. I rekon if it was done it could make a fair bit of money off it. :D
i just got a bit annoyed having to upload things onto a server then run down to my mums pc to check how it looked on a pc, (god dam html tables and spacer gifs).

If you knew this from the start, why didn't you say you needed it to be a Mac ap ? :)
No Mac experience here ... *points at himself*

i know that dreamweaver can be used to test out your site in diff. browsers (but the browsers have to be installed in your PC). So, you wouldn't have to load up the files and test.
i use bbedit on mac osx for my html files, bbedit has a nifty 'preview in all browsers' button in the html tools panel.
and i use quickeys, assigned 'launch bbedit' to alt+F2, so from flash i export the swf, when it opens i close it, hit alt+F2, one click and i see changes in all browser windows
close enough? ;)
