Need to hire some Freelance Coding help asap. I can give all the details of the project to serious applicant. But in short, the help I need is fairly straight forward, I am just new to AS3 and under time constraints.
I have tried two workflows for this so far:
Straight out of Flash CS5 AS3, I have Main Timeline and need to load 3external swfs on 3 different buttons (click) within a loader that places them in a particular place on stage and depth in the playlist and constrains one of the 3 to a particular width (the swf uses a photo gallery component that wants to extend beyond the borders of the swf size when it's loaded into the main swf). All 3 swfs are xml driven so I need them to unload when another button is clicked so as to unload the content for the user and not bog the site down -- they can reload through xml each time swf loads.
The other thing I tried was using Flash Catalyst. Creating a custom component and setting the "Clip to Component Bounds" setting solved the masking/constraining the swf problem but all of the swfs stay loaded all the time (won't unload when go to another state) and one of the 3 swfs doesn't want to load at all with xml.
I think this is pretty straightforward stuff, I just don't want to go back to AS2 at this point as the site is image heavy and AS3 seems to load it faster. Any consulting help would be greatly appreciated and we can discuss a price.
Thanks,
Danny
Don't know if it's ok to leave phone number here, so I'll wait and see how email responses go. Thanks!!!!!
