what software do i need for php and my sql

php is the language and my sql is the name of a database. Php is used to communicate with the database (mysql).


please can some 1 clarify if this correct or incorrect.

Depends on your OS. For example, you could use WAMP in MS Windows.

Im sorry im posting these questions in the forum as i know its can be fustrating for some as my qeustion are a begginer.



if i download the database server on to my desktop . So i am able to learn the code. The host sites have to pay a small fee to access the mysql.

ive set up the database oon my desktop. so i guess thats a local host.

when craeting a new database i have several options of languages which do i choose the tutorial didnt mention how to set up the datbase.

i will google the question next as well
