People are making such a big deal about Janet Jackson's breast... *sheesh*
It's just a breast...
That whole Janet and Justin performance at the Superbowl...I missed it. I decided to go bowling... :p instead of watching the game.
Donald Truimp's comment about it was really harsh and unnessary.
blha blah blah...ok...i better get my a$$ to school.

what did donald trump say?
her tities were kinda flabby for fake ones ;)
it was on sky news thats how i saw it, was watching the match, seemed pretty good but went to bed cos it was late and i missed all the action :(
+ there is none of the famous adds on here, they play our own shitty ones instead of the real expensive ones that are normally as original as possible
McGiver
02-06-2004, 08:17 AM
yeah, it wasn't that sensational, as they made it look.
only a breast with cyborg nipple.
boyzdynasty

lol "cyborg nipple"
Donald said it was on called and that the people/Network should go after Janet for damages....(sue her).

finally this hot group of girls (http://www.onevo1ce.com/Content/Main.aspx?pageId=1) have their third album out.
sad that they don't have a big distribution channel. :(
They were the first asian (R&B / Hip Hop) group I listen to...and through them I found out there asian groups in the U.S.A that are just not well known....
like...
BrownSkin
Drop N Harmony (DNH)
Pinay
...aww man.... I hope that girl from Hawaii (who is Philipino) makes it to the top 12 of American Idol. She can really sing!! And she's hot.
interesting...the groups I listed above are all philipino.

i heard only one song from Yellowcard...and I heard it from this T.V. on the WB channel... It's either "smallvill" or "one tree hill" ...and ways...they are punk rock/alternative
I think colin said something about them...like their album has only one good song...

I was quite shocked, one of busted appeared in the NME a couple of weeks back and he liked a record I like, Neon Golden by The Notwist.
maybe if they ditched the excessively perky pop rock rubbish they do now and started making records that sounded a bit more like that I might not have to run from the room screaming whenever one of their songs came on ;)

My Immortal has been 'out' for several weeks in belgium, and I haven't seen my Evanescence cd (on which everyone is jealous) in weeks... :D
The reason is that everyone who bought the new cd has another version of my immortal on it: one with guitars in the end, while I have the one with the easy not guitar version :D

I didn't really fail any of my midterms but I didn't get a satisfying grade :(
Glad to hear work is good to you. Right now, I'm a student worker working as a tutor. I don't like tutoring because I am "slow". *lol
Students come to me for help and majority of the time I don't know the material. I would sit there with them and read their textbook to fig. out how to help them.
linckx
03-13-2004, 10:43 AM
sounds familiar...
The thing with me is that I understand and even agree with the things we learn, but that I can't learn them from a textbook to write them correctly on an exam...
result: people who I've helped have no fails... I do... and the worst... some people of whom the whole class thinks that they're disasters with people get great grades... only because they can learn okay...

I hated the first song I heard from them... and they played it overtime here...Every ten minutes (In the shadows)
I like the sound of the second but not the voice of the singer... might be because the song (something like 'first day of my life') has a lot of red hot chili peppers influences in it...
so I'm not a fan :s

any heart, not tough,
or strong, enough
to take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain
love is like a cloud
holds a lot of rain
love hurts, ooh ooh love hurts
I'm young, I know,
but even so
I know a thing, or two
I learned, from you
I really learned a lot,
really learned a lot
love is like a flame
it burns you when it's hot
Love hurts, ooh ooh love hurts
ehrm ... what ?

But not now for a while I hope.
but that's so real: only real love really hurts.
I started on a website last week (it has been almost a year since I had opened flash but it still looks very familiar, eventhough I'm not into 2004 and as2...

plus I just got the new Lenny Kravitz Album Baptism and I love it!
my favourite one at the moment is Minister of Rock 'n roll

Just got the DVD and it's great...well...I'm actually on my bathroom break.
Just thought I say something *hehe* :p :D

I always like Tom as an actor...but this is the best movie he was ever in.
And so far...the only movie that made me cry different at certain scenes... hmm... not cry...but just...a little tear here and there ;)
I was watching some of the extra features...I didn't know the battle field scene was shot in New Zealand...thought it was Japan. *hehe*
Man...New Zealand looks very nice. Hopefully, I would get a chance to visit there. And of course visit Japan.

Ok...guys...
Who here heard of the Cure?
Blink 182 collaborated with Robert on a song call "All of this" in their latest album.
Not knowing who this guy or this group was...i was listening to the song. And I was like...hmm...the song sounds nice but this doesn't sound like Blink 182. So I looked up the song in the booklet that comes with the cd and one of the band members talked about the Cure.
Anyway, I looked up the group and listen to this one song...forget the name of it...something loving you....

the cure is coming to rock werchter.
I'm not sure if I'll go see... I only know 'a forest'...
What you also should see is 'samurai jack'... It's on cartoon network here. Only got that for two weeks. Only that and spungebob Squarepants is really fun to watch, all the rest is like yukkie... oh no, sheep in the city also rocks!
But samurai jack is like massive atmosphere, drama for a cartoon. Sometimes you really recognize big movies like the matrix in it, but it's just absolutely great!

cypres hill... they're coming to rockwerchter second year in a row... that's twice in two years I have to go find something nice to do :( I like some of their music... rock superstar was absolutely great... but I don't smoke weed and I don't wanna bounce on 7 songs in a row about weed... plus I don't think they're strong live... they only reach their fans, not potential new ones...
I liked the roots

RobinYUP!! It's very very nice. So somber I think...still not sure what the song is about. I wish the next release of their album they put notes like most bands in their CDs.

I like nick cave and I'm not ashamed to say so :) 'into my arms' and 'fifteen feet of pure white snow' are works of genius. i'd put them next to 'I want you' from elvis costello.
I know where children come from. My girlfriend is studying to become a doctor, and she's got whole books on the subject... Not beautiful :s we should be lucky not to have one of like 1000 0000 0000 00000 or so much things that could have gone wrong (well, some of you might have :d)
you know who I'd really really like to do a duet with amy (that's her name huh?) from Evanescence? Aaron from Staind. I adore that guy. He sings the way I do to, very long notes, powerfull really quick changing to sensitive and back... Seen them live twice, love them more than that.

awww....so why so blue
I just got back from watching it (3am). I really like it. However, there were some scenes I didn't like. Overall I would give the movie 4 out of 5 stars.
There was this one scene when Peter Parker threw away his spiderman costume in the trash....they should have played the "Vindicated" in the background. :( It would have been perfect if the chorus of the song comes in when he threw his suit in the trash can.
And there were some hints/clues in the movie as to what Spider-Man 3 would be....
Of course it was obvious at the end that Harry Osborn will be the Hob Goblin....in the comic books Harry was the green goblin *I think*
Anyway, Peter Parker's Professor was missing a right arm. It was not noticable...idunno if any other caught that. But there were a few scenes. In the comic book version, there was a doctor/scientist that was a Lizard and in human form he had a missing arm.
Anyway, since 2morrow is today...my other friend wants me to go w/ him and watch it after he gets off work. I guess I will do that.
The website is pretty nice too http://spiderman.sonypictures.com/

I'm back from werchter... was not that great... all the good bands were bands I'd seen allready. Lostprophets were great, lamb was superb, metallica was big, korn rocked, pink sucked big time...
she was lazy, not 'motivated', and you just don't call 70 000 people a small crowd...
robin
btw... my hair is done... got less than half of what I had..

Actually I prefer smaller festivals.
Campusinvasion was here in my hometown, with bands like
Monster Magnet, LostProphets, and some german ones.
LostProphets played quite early (third band), but I think they were quite good (when they came grass was still green, when they left some brown half-liquid mash remained)
afterwards there were just too many people for one stage (~20000 were there, and that is in my opinion already a lot too much))
~500 People make a cool small crowd

I can understand, I like the masses when big groups with known songs come on: sing along with 70 000 is always good for some goose bumps... but I do prefer litte local festivals, next sunday a fun one with less than 500 people, on a market square, all belgian line up, but nice names, some of them were on werchter, the others on other big festivals, quality without the quantity, for just 10 euros...
love it!

one of the most magnificent feelings I had was with Muse, 2 years ago, on a very muddy festival... people didn't jump but gently got pushed back and forth... sometimes felt weird, and when you fell, people really rushed to get you up :)
Korn (also two years ago, different festival) was different. I was on front row and when you jumped you didn't even know in what direction you'd go or land. But you did know it was gonna be far :)
Moloko last year was great when you lay down on the ground... you could feel it move, but only on the familiar parts of songs... 'sing it back' was massive!

yeah, but if there are 20000 people, you need half an hour till you fight yourself through the "unintrested-whatching-crowd" to the main "pogo-stagedive-musicloving-crowd"

That's fenomenal!

Sit down and jump up ? Sounds good !
btw, don`t go to a concert in Japan, it`ll freak you out. The moment the concert starts it becomes silent (you can hear the artist(s) walking on the stage !). They clap inbetween songs, but stop the second they start the next ! Must be really freaky for first timers on a Japanese stage. :)

07-14-2004, 03:47 AM
who performed at the concert you went to?
if I go to Japan, I hope to see Hikaru Utada. I wonder if she still sings. "First Love" is a classic in my book! She tried to break into the USA market singing in the "Rush Hour 2" soundtrack. She teamed up w/ a female rapper, Foxy Brown (i think).
Ricod

Utada Hikaru still sings. Shes as popular as ever here. I guess most people in the west know her from the Final Fantasy (I think X-2) and Kingdom Hearts soundtracks though.

My friends and I went upstairs and the bouncers let us in the VIP area b/c it wasn't being used yet. Anyway...we were just chilling, dancing,...hanging out...
After 30mins., we were asked to leave...i turn around...and BAM...it was them!!!!!!!!
