ok... it has nothing to do with AS but I just have to say....this song

"My Immortal" by Evanescene

I'm listening to it while I work and dag....it is nice.

calm and soothing!! ;)

got it, downloaded it, listened to it...

I'm impressed :)
she's got a nice voice, which sounds familiar, but not familiar (see what I mean?)

nice song, I can imagine I'd put the repeat button on for this one...

my favorites are 'that soundtrack from requiem for a dream, which was also in the trailer of LOTR II' and everything from 'apocalyptica'.

friendly greetings,

robin

she's finally coming to belgium :) :)

I always love her videoclips too, but I only know the 'known' songs

I'm hooked on kruder and dorfmeister, pish posh and LTJ bukem.

But i cannot listen to those when i am writing code, only when i am feeling a bit on the creative side :)

Having said that, i listen to all sorts (got over 3700 mp's on my puter) - spend more time sorting those than working.

that's more like the 'dance' type isn't it?

I prefer the chemical brothers, underworld and faithless, you know, the big shots...

but indeed, writing code can't be done (by me anyway) with a rushing beat or weird tones :)

robin

snapple
03-12-2003, 12:53 PM
Yeah - anthmic drum and bass, light beats 'v' heavy ones, with voice overs and tunes in the bg etc - I love underworld, but only their older stuff, such as "second tuffest in the infants" & "dubbnobasswithmyhead" - great albums. But then the next day i might give it some Kate Rusbey (Irish Folk) or *cheesy, cheesy* Cold Play. - who knows, lifes one big roulette wheel, espcially when it comes to me and my mp3's. I certainly know how to enjoy myself :)

you should try out some belgian bands, we've got great ones:

search for dEus, K's Choice (my personal favorites), An Pierlé, Ozark Henry, Millionnaire, Arid, ...

or soulwax and 2 many dj's, praga kahn, etc...

and don't worry, they all sing in English, so you'll understand more of it than of panjabi MC :D

Talking about Belgium, I really like Venus. Pretty good rock band I, think. Wel, now that I think of it, I'm not sure they're from Belgium

linckx

I don't know venus, but then again, might be just me...

I do know venus in flames, a very promising young man, and groups that have the same potential are

zita swoon, tom helsen, das pop, yum

jesus, I must have had 'm all :D

robin

anybody know of some interesting 'soft-or-a-little-bit-less-soft-rock groups that haven't been on Mtv?

robin

Well, I might be wrong about Venus... and do you know places where I could dl mps from those bands you mentionned?

And concerning that soft-rock-that-blabla, do you know Jude? It's VERY good. And I don't think it's been on MTV. Anyway I wouldn't know, I don't watch MTV...

thx for the name pom!

Evanescene appeared on the Dare Devil soundtrack w/ the song "Bring Me to Life" *pretty neat

I have not heard any of those group you guys mention.

But I'm d/l from Kazaa now. :D

I just love to listen to music *period* when I am working on designing or developing.

But when I study *esp. reading textbooks* , I need to listen to classical music.

linckx

gotta give you a point there,

there's no such music that can push you and carry you when you're studying or learning like classical music...

i don't think I could have made it through my American History class w/out classical music.

linckx
03-12-2003, 10:39 PM
I couldn't have made it through my courses of english, or stayed motivated with my lingo-classes without paolo conte, vangelis and a bunch of old collection-cd's with classical music :)

but I wouldn't have been able to have kept my temper when they treated us so unfair without the deftones and korn, so where's my statement actually :s

I think every kind of music has it's value, as long as it makes you feel that little thing like 'hey, gotta hear that part again' :)

listening to tenacious D with 'tribute' and flaming lips with 'yoshimi battles the pink robots'...

check those two out, like them, some sort of storytelling in quite a humoristic way

nah, the best song at the moment has to be

Screaming Infidelities by Dashboard Confessional - to chillout to

just discovered Dashboard Confessional two days ago - a friend recommended "screaming ..." and i thought it was great. have a heard a few others by the group but nothing quite so nice.
are there any other songs like this (by other bands) - good riddance by Green Day immediately springs to mind simply 'cos of the acoustic guitar.

have also just started listening to Something Corporate who are also very good (from what i can tell).

anyone know bands similar to these?

cheers

Saw Dashboard Confessional open for Weezer last summer. They, DBC, (actually I think the band is just one guy who hired a bunch of other guys) were a little underwheming in that arena. Too soft and not big enough for that venue.

I've been getting these great music samplers from heavy.com (http://www.heavy.com). They send out a CD every month if you have a membership. It's a pain to get outside the states apparenttly BUT they always have the current sampler streaming on the site.

Currently Under Heavy Rotation on my Play List:

D4, The Donnas, DriveByTruckers, Eels, The Clash, Mooney Suzuki, The Forty Fives, The Hate-Bombs.

no its definately:

Dasboard Confessionals - "Screaming Infidelities"
Trapt - "Headstrong"

dashboard Confessionals have dot a website.

Another chilled out song, Grifter, similar to Dashboard Confessionals would be:

Owen - "The ghost of a good thing" (its one guy called - Mike Kinsella)

Never heard of most of em ... , 'cept for Tenacious D.

I'm still into Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine and a lot of movie soundtracks ... nothing like the LOTR II soundtrack when you have to draw an elf or something like that :D !

bluegel

nowt wrong with the Beastie Boys.

But Rage Against the Machine - they were the best.

what movie sound tracks do you think are the best Ricod?

Grifter
03-14-2003, 04:18 PM
bluegel - thanks will check it out.
vile - yeah i can imagine they're/he's not great live - i saw them/him do "screaming ..." on some US TV show and it wasn't as good as recorded version. have you heard the any of the Datsuns stuff? (on different topic, what's up with Nyarnia?)

the Fight Club soundtrack's great, as is LotR, and much of Danny Elfman's things are good although they are all getting very similar.

pom
03-14-2003, 04:42 PM
Thanks for the precision, Boyz and BlueGel.

RATM - They were the best all right, but not anymore, unfortunately. The closest thing I've found so far is in the remix CD of Linkin Park (not the infamous soup they served in their album), the one called "A place for my head".

Ricod
03-14-2003, 04:50 PM
Ouh ! Danny Elfman ! Very nice indeed ! I loved the Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack ! But I agree that most of his work sound alike (some people call it 'style' others 'recycling' ... guess it depends on how much you like it :D )

To tell the truth bluegel ... I'm usually into the soundtracks of movies I really like (I hated 'the entertainer' untill I saw 'the Sting' with Robert Redofrd and Paul Newman , and now I like it, so go figure. Although, only DIRECTLY after watching the movie.)

I guess I also liked 'the Gladiator' but then you started to hear it everywhere (We have this 'Survivor' based program and it also used music from the Gladiator, so I kinda got sick of it.) It didn't really help that the 'Pearl Harbour' soundtrack was very similar. :( But, Liza Gerald (did I spell that right ? I'm a bit sleepy ...) sounds amazing !

Guess I'm waiting for the Matrix 2 now (and hope to hear more Rage !) Of course, still bummed out about the split !

I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about a Norah Jones ... what kind of music does she sing ?

hmmm ... Linkin Park ? It sounded so promising, but then I started to notice that it's all so 'produced' and slick (in a bad way) ... kinda like the theme song from Eminem's movie ...

boyzdynasty
03-14-2003, 05:53 PM
norah jones sings those jazzy blues type of songs.

not really my type but she does have a great voice.

I've heard of Russel Watson. i can't stand him, but then thats the only music type I'm not very much into. he's just a skinny Pavarotti (and Pavarotti is so much better)

but whatever floats your boat hey?

but Norah Jones is sooo good. very chillout type music

:)

boyzdynasty
03-17-2003, 11:26 AM
*lol* skinny Pavarotti ....

but Pavarotti is gettin' old and he's loosing his voice. :(

But I think Russell is a good entertainer.... (Compare to other classical performer) he is a great performer.
Other classical performer are so rigid on stage...I saw the Three Tenors and they have nice voices but they seem so dead (lack of stage presence).

-------------------

When Russell was on "The Wanye Brady Show", I was surprise that he was able to impersonate Loui Armstrong - "A beautiful World"
*I think that is the title of the Song*
....well... he sang it with Wanye Brady.

....and he did a little of James Brown and Elvis....

BTW: Wayne Brady has madd talent. That guy is a great comedian and a great singer. Dunno if you guys get that show in the U.K....but should check him out.

pom

Fiona Apple plays piano, sings with sexy voice and it's one of the most beautiful girls of the planet. The style, don't know, kind of New York style or something like that :) Pretty cool music.

Well, women ARE an interesting subject to me, because I don't think I'll ever be able to understand them completely. My wife (I call her that but she's not  ) is probably the most mysterious girl in the world (to me at least). The biggest mystery being: why is she in love with me?

On the other hand, here we are, poor and simple men, I totally agree with you, trying to understand. What's wrong with that?

For your information, I hate the way "girlfriend" sounds in French, "copine". It's meaningless, empty. It sounds like she could be just a friend of mine. AND she calls her best friend (girl) her wife, so I guess I'm trying to compete with her (but how could I ever beat her :( ).

And yes, we're definitely far off the tracks. Which reminds me that I've been listening to Dummy (Portishead) and that's it is still as excellent as it was when it first came out.

Two guys, one is a psycho music maker, 24 years, and the other plays the flute, 50 years old, together they are Shpongle. I must've been wrong... I guess this means if I can find someone to film me doing what I do usually (sitting at a computer, going to the photocopier, then back to the computer again) I could be a movie star.
it would make a great film. a gritty tale of one mans battle against a mouse that doesn't go where you point it and endless paper jams.

I'm sure we'd all be able to relate with your film then catbert, so it might make a good film, but we'd need to see a bit of action and perhaps a bit of excitement somewhere along the line
;)

oh, yeah, I noticed that Linckx, sorry, I'll try and come back from my daydream (couldn't resist-sorry again)

back to the topic of conversation then :)

héhé, you're welcome

personally I really like the way threads start changing from their original subject to completly weird things :)

and 'bout the excitement in catbert's movie... have you ever seen a copier spit out 50 pages and trying to swallow 120? and then start smoking? Seen that once :) exciting and very fun if you don't have a deadline :D

Excitement? I think the lunchtime rush to get to the deli before they sell out of all the good stuff should be all the exitement it needs ;)
plus pigeons occassionally land on the office skylight that can be quite dramatic... (we don't have a real window :()

back on topic, today i've been listening to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips, excellent record :)

I'm listening to Justin Timberlake - Never Again, its on his album - very different compared to his old songs - sounds a bit like old boy bands songs from back in the late 80's, got lots of acoustic guitar playing in it - nice ;)

I'll have to get some more music into work as my cd and mp3 collection is limited at work as I can't be bothered to bring any in from home.

OSCARS are for actors but there is a category for best music/original theme song.

And "loose yourself" is the theme song to "8 Mile"

He was nominated for that...not for "Best Actor" category.

I forgot who was his fellow nominees... but I one of 'em is from the movie "Chicago"

Apparently Justin Timberlake guested with the flaming lips when they were on top of the tops, I think the story was he dressed up in a dolphin suit and played bass for them.

I could have borrow a calculator at the math and science Center but they closed.

And my class was a night class. I had it in the evening so the Center close.

It was so messed up. Should have seen me....or heard me....
*lol*

People in class was laughing at me b/c I was so shocked.

When I checked the batteries, I let out ah... "Oh Shiet...this is not happening"....

I guess people know who I am now. ;)

I just hope I don't do that bad. Just good enough so I can ACE the final exam and try to get an "A" in the course.

Final Grade:
midterm 35% final exam 35% HW/Assignments 20% Attendance 10%

*I think that is how the Prof. set it up*

or it could be this...

midterm 35% final exam 45% HW/Assignments 10% Attendance 10%

I know I did bad in Attendace. I have only been in the class 2 times.

linckx

not all of us want jewellery - anyway, jewellery is a definate bad choice unless you've been with them for a long time.

but I don't think the batteries would be a good idea either - cos then the girl would feel a bit cheap!

We called ourselves "BoyzDynasty" ..... but after graduation everyone went on there seperate ways. :(

Have you guys stopped bickering now. I've just got into work and read your very strange posts.

Thanx linckx for the compliment - I didn't actually mean to go to any post in particular, it was just that my boss was off work yesterday and I was bored.

just out of interest, what time are you too both logged on to, cos I know there's a time difference and was just trying to work it out. cos boyzdynasty seems to be logged on as often as me and its day time here.

Breakdancing is really hard - can't do it anymore but used to do it when I was younger.

used to break, but I sometimes think I still can, just don't have the confidence to do it - in case I hurt myself cos I've turned a bit cautious since I've got older.

so you're 5 hours behind us - (I phone my dad last night at 11:00pm my time and asked him what time it was where he was and it was 6:00pm and he was in a meeting, so I had interrupted him just to find out what time it was) - but I know it varies depending where you are.

this is so crazy...

Ok...I'm a student worker at the University I go to.
I'm a teacher's assistant (TA) and I do some database prog. for this department in the University.

well...I got into work (TA) and the administer comes up to me and said my system got hacked in.

*pause* *shiet...waht the f***....ahhh*

I have this software engineering course and I had asked the admin in the Computer Science department for a machine.
The machine is a Linux server....and my group and I were using it for our project, and we had set up this forum for Computer Science students.

Anyways, he told me the hacker(s) were sending viruses from our machine to other machines in Europe.

I asked, "How did they found out?"

Response: Admins from Europe call the school!!!

dag....that sux...so now our system is off line and they are going to reformat it *just in case*
....dag...I have to install everything over.

Anyways......

I got another bad news....

Just found out that I have another EXAM this friday. My Management Science / Operation Management (MSOM) course....

well I am totally unprepare for it.

*I have been to class* ....but I did some of the assignments and it wasn't that bad.

But I have to read 4 chapters and work on problems by 2morrow!!

*THAT sux*

Well...that was my morning....I hope others have a pleasant one.

Thank god I have my music with me. It helps a little.
Listening to Evanescene - "My Immortal" .... the piano sound is so soothing. :)

bluegel
03-20-2003, 04:44 PM

sound like your morning was about as bad as my day.

I'm still working on the same bit of code that I've been working on for the last two days and it just doesn't work.

every time I listen to my music, the boss comes over and asks if I'm ok and trys to help, but he hasn't been much use at all.

I'm listening to The Roots at the moment, but they aren't a very good band to listen to when you have to listen with headphones, cos you wanna dance to them. :) :p

thanx.

I'm in this dictionary.com mailing list
and the word of the day is

virago \vuh-RAH-go; vuh-RAY-go\, noun:
1. A woman of extraordinary stature, strength, and courage.
2. A woman regarded as loud, scolding, ill-tempered,
quarrelsome, or overbearing.

hmm....that could be you....but which version/type do you prefer

there's probably a bit of both of them in me, but I apparently control my temper quite well though
:)

WoW... You guys are getting married??? Glad to hear that... :D

I am sure other people are too afraid to butt in at this moment when you guys are dating... Especially when they are afraid of double break dancing kicks... :D

Hey, bluegel... Did you solve that problem??? Last time when I heard, you said that you were going to put up some sample with that hitArea problem... What happened???

bluegel
03-21-2003, 09:47 AM
married?? who said anything about getting married?

as for the hit area problem, I tried to upload a sample of it, but it was still too big... But I think I've sussed it out now - Im using the following code:

//creating the background colours
myColor = new Color("_root.S_Background");
if (_root.b_green == 1) {
myColor.setRGB(0x66B101);
}

and have set the S_Background to alpha 95%, and this for some strange reason seems to work and you can no longer see the hit area. (It's not originally my code - a designer did a demo and its now been passed to me - so its difficult to suss out what is going on). But at long last, it seems to work well for now. :)

I'm trying to put all the feedback in, from the testers, and ignore all the other little bugs for now.

CyanBlue
03-21-2003, 09:56 AM
Didn't I tell you??? Double break dancing kick!!! :D

Just one little question... HitArea is/was showing, right??? Why not set the alpha all the way down to 0 or set the _visible to false??? All HitArea does is to provide the shape for the button/movieclip... You don't have to see how it looks like???

Well... As long as it works... ;)

bluegel
03-21-2003, 10:19 AM
I had set the hit area to alpha 0%, but there was still like a shadow that went across the screen - but yep, it works now.

>>>>>>>>>>>

Pom shouldn't worry, cos I'm too old and crippled to break dance now (well almost) so there's no threat from me. Dunno about 'boyz' though ;)

hey Pom - that's what I thought you were on about - but wasn't quite sure why??

hey boyz - you didn't actually ask if I had got home safely, just cos I'm at work, it doesn't necessarily mean that I got home ok. ;)

oh and I've sussed out that problem too, but now haven't done any work since then, and have just been sitting here listening to music and emailing my mate who seems to be bored too.

Trying to decide whether to go clubbing tonite as a load of my mates are going, but its not really my kinda music (see boyzdynasty - I said kinda again ;) )

change the title to what exactly.....

I got confused today - cos thought that as you hadn't logged on that you had your exam, but then realised what the time was where you are - not that I was checking to see if you were online or anything ;) (it was about 12:30 my time - but you are normally on at that time anyway) :)

*haha* --- not POM from AS.org

POM stands for ....i forgot what the 'P' stands for... O = operation
M = management

baack to the topic - I love this song:

"Misery" by Pink featuring Steven Tyler.

not like Pink's normal style, but such a gorgoeus stlye

Quite depressing song though - here are some of the lyrics:

And, oh! I've been down this road before
With a passion that turns into pain
And each I saw love walk out the door
I swore never get caught again

But ain't it true? It takes what it takes
And sometime we get too smart to leave
One more heartache for me
Another night of misery

bluegel

you've been saying that yoiu are going to get some sleep for a while now??:)

We have Internet at home, but my computer is broken and we don't have broadband. My best mate (who I am living with next year) has let me borrow their computer and they pay £12 a month and have unlimited 24hour a day surf time.

so if she asks me what I'm doing, I'm doing research!! ;)

where are you going to find 'lady buddy'?

CyanBlue
03-22-2003, 03:06 PM
I know... It's like a habit these days... I gotta make myself sleep but I cannot force me... :(

So, how's your research going??? Getting some progress??? :D

£12 a month for an unlimited 24hour access is not bad at all... I think it used to be whole lot higher a couple years back in UK... I'm paying like $10 per month for the 56k, and I don't think they make any money out of me... :D

'lady buddy'... Where should I find one??? Hm... Hm... Um... I don't know... Where should I??? I'd love to ask you to be the one, but I don't really want to get kicked by boyzdynasty... PA is not that far from VA... :p Besides... I already got one right next ot me at the moment... :D

Glad em won for the song, I think the first verse should become a 'standard' for rappers everywhere to start riming like that instead of staying with the nigga's and bitches...

And boy oh boy michael moore did one hell of a nice speech on the oscars :) they even showed it on the news here, and I don't know any tvchannel in belgium that shows the oscars, just a very very short review...

who won the best animation?

thats only cos you work all night and would get bored if you didn't have it!! I am trying to fix this darn habit... So, I didn't sleep at all on saturday day/night and slept some last NIGHT... Hope I'd get some more sleep tonight... :D

Nope... I'll just say that this is the side effect of AS.org syndrome... ;)

Hey, boyzdynasty... I am HOPING to stay off of this side effect during the day time... Or, I might go get the second line and have it on ALL DAY!!! :D

hope you sort out your sleeping habits, its not good to be nocternal (can't spell). I used to be like that when I was a student, but if I didn't have my job, I would still be a night person.

I checked online for my FINANCE grade...that exam I had taken last week w/ *no batteries in my calculator*

well...i passed!!! I can't believe it.... I guess 15/50 questions!!!!

I got 90%/100% and the class avg. was a 66%.

*I guess...guessing "C" really works!!

So I had 45/50 questions right!!! http://www.fadzter.com/smilies/buttrock.gif

As for my exam 2morrow, it is open book / open notes. The exam is on ASP, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML.... So I should be fine. But I have to take a look at my lab work I did. I still don't understand lab4 , which I completed...a friend helped me with it.

thats really good news, sometimes multiple choice questions are really odd, sometimes you guess them all and do really well, other times you just suck!

open book exams are always the best. i personally hate exams and did an all but one coursework degree. Had one exam only and that was open book too, and I got 5% so I can't be that bad at the subject (its electronics)

ok back to the music :)

anybody knows
script for a jester's tear by marillion?
it's a cd from 1983 (my birthyear), you know, like when they still had a manual on how to use a cd in the leaflet :)

I really love that song (and the cd, also called script for a jester's tear).

6 songs, really nice!

Found this from the googling (http://members.tripod.com/~Marillion_disco/LYRICS/l_script.htm)... Don't know the music though... ;)Script for a Jester's Tear - The Lyrics
So here I am once more in the playground of the broken hearts,
One more experience, one more entry in a diary, self-penned
Yet another emotional suicide overdosed on sentiment and pride
Too late to say I love you - Too late to restage the play
Abandoning the relics in my playground of yesterday

I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts
I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts
Too much, too soon, too far to go, too late to play,
The game is over, the game is over

So here I am once more in the playground of the broken hearts
I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts, the game is over, [over]

Yet another emotional suicide overdosed on sentiment and pride
I'm losing on the swings, I'm losing on the roundabouts, roundabouts, the game is over

Too late to say I love you,
Too late to restage the play, the game is over

I act the role in classic style of a martyr carved with twisted smile
To bleed the lyric for this song to write the rites to right my wrongs
An epitaph to a broken dream to exercise this silent scream
A scream that's borne from sorrow

I never did write that lovesong,
The words just never seemed to flow
Now sad in reflection did I gaze through perfection
And examine the shadows on the other side of morning
And examine the shadows on the other side of morning
Promised wedding now a wake, promised wedding now a wake, [awake]

The fool escaped from paradise
Will look over his shoulder and cry
Sit and chew on daffodils and struggle to answer "Why?"
As you grow up and leave the playground
Where you kissed your prince and found your frog,
Remember the jester that showed you tears, the script for tears

So I'll hold our peace forever when you wear your bridal gown
In the silence of my shame the mute that sang the sirens' song
Has gone solo in the game - I've gone solo in the game, but the game is over

Can you still say you love me, can you still say you love me
Can you still say that you love me,
Do you love me, do you love me, do you love me,
Do you love me, the jester's tear

Can you still say you love me, can you still say you love me,
Can you still say that you love me?

The jester's tear, the jester's tear
[Do you love me]

These are the most beautiful song lyrics that I've ever heard, and in a way its a happy song but also a bit sad too:

We said our promises by candlelight
You held my hands, I was dressed in white
We were young
How can we see that far?
I knew I wanted you like no one else
I told my momma that I'd found myself
In your eyes
How can we see that far?
But like your daddy said
The same sun that melts the wax can harden clay
And the same rain that drowns the rat will grow the hay
And the mighty wind that knocks us down
If we lean into it
Will drive our fears away

And when I woke you in the dead of night
To hold my hands, push away the fright
Life had come - a son
How can we see that far?
Yeah we were nervous and a little scared
Until the music of our baby's cry
Filled the air
How can we see that far?

But like your daddy said
The same sun that melts the wax can harden clay
And the same rain that drowns the rat will grow the hay
And the mighty wind that knocks us down
If we lean into it
Will drive our fears away

We might die
We could hurt each other badly
Do things, things so hard to forgive
Oh and if time is not our friend
Your mind might forget me before the end
I cannot look that far

But like your daddy said
How can we see that far?
The same sun that melts the wax can harden clay
And the same rain that drowns the rat will grow the hay
And the mighty wind that knocks us down
If we lean into it
Will drive our fears away

my favorite lyrics are these from K's Choice: Everything for free:

Ks Choice
everything for free

I don't know who you are,
but you seem very nice
So will you talk to me
shall I tell you a story
Shall I tell you a dream,
they think I'm crazy
They don't know that I like it here
,it's nice in here
I get everything for free,
have you been here before
Shall I show you around,
it's really pretty
Have you come here to stay
well you sure picked a day
My name is Billy, it's my birthday
you're invited To my party down the hall
sing me a birthday song

Where I'll go, what I'll become or who
I am or what I'll be I'll never know
But I am sure that I'll get everything for free
I'm not troubled or sad
I'm just ready for bed
It's been a long day,
before they switch off the lights
That truly was a delight
they think I'm crazy
They don't know that I like it here
it's nice in here
I get everything for free

Where I'll go, what I'll become or who I am
or what I'll be I'll never know
But I am sure that I'll get everything for free

Where I'll go, what I'll become or who I am
or what I'll be I'll never know
But I am sure that I'll get everything for free

I don't know who you are
but you seem very nice
So will you talk to me
shall I tell you a story
Shall I tell you a dream
they think I'm crazy
They don't know that I like it here
it's nice in here
I get everything for free

auch!

k's choice was the best belgian band I knew, famous in USA too, did many things with skunk anansie, but they've split half a year ago.

their most famous hit (the breakthrough song) was 'Not an Addict'.

In their last album, gert, the guitarplayer did a song called shadowman. Get your hands on that one...

when you're feeling a little depressed, it won't make you feel any better, it might even strenghten that eery feeling you have, but it's in my opinion the best intimate belgian song of the last years.

there should be two versions of it: the suberb studio version, on the 'Almost Happy' album
and the magnificent live version on the 'K's Choice Live' album.

that's the band that made the most songs I could relate too.

friendly greetings, robin
