Hello again,
Man am I glad this resource exists!
Anyway, I am having trouble with buttons that move in a movie clip. Ideally, when any button is clicked the movie then plays from one specified location until another. Simple, right?
So how do I tell flash that?

I know that the number following 'Go To and Play, "#"' deliniates the frame label where the movie will STOP; but presently my movie always STARTS at the beginning. Flash and I just don't communicate. I want my movie to start where I want it to start.
Can anyone offer counseling? (please be sure and let me know where any offered actionscript should be added).

I thinky ou're a little confused... in:

gotoAndPlay(X)

The X deliniates the starting frame. gotoAndPlay(123) tells Flash to goto frame 123 and play from there... not to play until it reaches frame 123... If it is doing anything different you probably have a paths problem in your movie...
