Does anyone know why all the JPEG images looks jaggy once they got imported into flash? I have high-res images save for web. I need a solution for this. I appreciate any leads. Thanks so much.

How large are your images?

They are 700 x 500 pixel, 159kb in GIF format.

So they are GIFs, not JPEGs?
You can try right clicking on the GIF in your library, chose properties, and experiment by toggling between allowing/not allowing smoothing and lossless/jpeg compression (jpeg compression will work on the gif)...
There are also GIF settings under Publish Settings...

Still don't work. I realized if the object in the angle mode, it looks jaggy around the edges. Images that are facing front are okay. I tried different settings but it looks the same.

Try
bitmap.smoothing = true;

No difference at all. Any more suggestions?

Can you attach an example? I'll see if I can figure it out.

I try to never resize images in flash, I think you had the large computer image in your library and resized it (smaller) which is in the bottom right hand corner. I gave an example of a smaller image exported from photoshop which I think is ok. Go into your PS doc and reduce size to 25%.
I hope that helps.

I did resized the images in PS, but when I imported to Flash they looked blur. The resolution is 72 right? I used PNG & GIF since JPEG don't do transparency. Please let me know.
