That's a real blow - although I don't have any FOED books, I always enjoyed getting them out of the library and going through them. I was planning on saving up a bit of cash and buying one or two if I was feeling especially flush come the end of the momth.
They were always so well designed and so inspirational. Especially the New Masters series. This has probably made me realise how much I appreciated them.
Looks like I'm not going to be able to wait much longer. I'll have to buy a few of them before they dissapear ... besides, beans on toast don't taste that bad :D
I'm gutted that such a good product should run into such difficulties.

Ahhhhh, beans on toast. My tactics, i have just bought a foed book for £36 - wacked it on the credit card, but then realised that i have no money left until the 1st of April.........i think i might seperate beans for mondays and wednesdays and toast for other nights - as a special treat, glass of water on the side.
Regards, snapple :)

ahhhh
I don't think we should be panic about the books, I think most of the will be re-published by anyone else as long they are good books
I hope as I think other press houses will get the rights of those books

And none of that fancy Heinz stuff either I hope Snapple. We're talking Sainsbury's own or Asda's "Best". And the small cans too!
Faffy - I hope you're right. I'd hate for it to take this to make me realise that I actually quite liked those books!

Oh yeahhhhhh - you got it there simontheak, either the 5p ones or if you really try you can get 3p tins - they consist of beans (although you could be forgiven for thinking they are badger sh*t), floating around in a mildly tomato-like sauce with the consistency of water.
I can't wait, i might try and convince myself that i am taking some wierd religous stance where i am only allowed to consume gypsy beans.
